| Willys-Overland Roll Drafting Table |
This is a Hamilton Economy drafting table that was used at Willys-Overland and has a Willy-Overland asset tag on it. It is a fairly large one at 44" x 82". When the drafting department no longer existed, the table was relegated to be used as a space to place and organize time cards on, in the payroll office. I bought this from an artist that worked for the Jeep plant in 2011. He got it when the payroll manager called him and said "two drawing tables were going to be scrapped. If he wanted one he could get a scrap pass to take it home." He used it in his Art Shop for about ten years and when he retired and no longer need it, he put it up for sale on Craigslist. The table is now being used as an input table to scan some of the very drawings the table may have been used to create! So it has come full circle.

The drafting table was used to create a lot of drawings over the years. Now it is being used as part of the process to scan those very same drawings! It is used as the input table for a large format scanner.
