In the last 95 years, the desk of John North Willys when he was at Willys-Overland has experienced some wear and deterioration. The goal is to bring back the grandeur of the desk without affecting its value. The desk itself was built by the Shaw Furniture Company of Cambridge, MA. It was built of mahogany.

The top itself is in not bad shape. There was a piece of glass that protected the top. There is a gouge on the right side toward the back, but it isn't very deep. The main issue with the top is the edges. They are banged up and scraped.
